Staycation

We started out our staycation with a movie night and really enjoyed the flick 'Bolt' We invited over a couple cousins, Sarah and David to join us.

The next day we went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. What a great place and so much for the kids to do.

Leslie would smile for pictures unless she noticed how close to a dino she was.

Kera's favorite stop in the museum was the erosion table. At first she thought the sand was icky, but then really enjoyed it. Leslie stayed by us instead.

It was kindof a windy day :) But we had a nice picnic outside for lunch.

After lunch we went back into the museum for more dinos and the science room-cool stuff!

Leslie loved these dinosaurs and attacking Daddy.

I love how Leslie always try to put her arm around Kera. What cute sisters they are!

We really enjoyed walking around the beautiful gardens after the museum.

Then we were on our way to Provo. We picked up my niece Jessica at BYU and drove around our old stomping grounds. Our appartment had been resided and gotten new windows. The girls love the duck pond. And what trip to Provo would be complete without dinner at Los Hermanos :) We dropped Jess off for the football game and headed up the canyon.

First stop, bridal falls. Bryan and I used to love to drive up here. Such a pretty place.

Then we drove to a park that we used to picnic and play at a lot. The girls threw the frisbee, checked out the stream and then enjoyed the playground slide.

We had a great day and listened to the BYU game on the way home. When asked what they liked the most, both girls said the park-of couse it's the one thing we can do everyday. It's all good and I'm sure we'll do it again. Sorry for the picture overload!
